Michigan & the UP

     Earlier this summer, we headed up the Michigan for a fun family adventure.  We went all the way up to the UP and lake Superior, toured the Pictured Rocks, took a ferry over to Mackinac Island, conquered the climb at Sleepy Bear Dunes, and camped our way back down to Indiana.  It was as awesome adventure for sure.  So much beauty in Michigan, so much family time, lots of hikes and several amazing sunsets.  We loved all the little towns and shops we found along the way too like Traverse City and The Cherry Republic.  Thanks to a recommendation from friends, we hunted for Petoskey stones and found a few on our first day of hunting.  It was a super fun family camping adventure as we enjoyed "Pure Michigan!"
